You have so many places you can use the Clean Sponge! You can wash wine glasses, cast iron pans, counter tops, your stove, floors, cabinets, faucets. The Clean Sponge will Suck up the mess and when it's done you can wash it out and do it again.
Tackle the whole bathroom with your Clean Sponge. The Clean Sponge can take paint off porcelain and water stains off mirrors. We suggest starting on the finer surfaces while your CS is clean and moving on to the heavier jobs. Afterwards just toss it in the washing machine to clean it back out.

We've used early prototypes in the garage for everything from cleaning rims to whipping out wheel bearings. The unique mesh construction allows dirt and debris to penetrate the Clean Sponge rather than just push it around. After a heavy job however your Clean Sponge would be committed to the garage. Proper cleaning may require solvents and chemicals and is not be recommended in your washing machine. The Clean Sponge has not been tested on car paint and is not for washing, polishing, drying or any other application of your vehicle.

At Clean Sponge we recommend using natural methods to clean your kitchen, house and Clean Sponge. Simple solutions like orange rinds soaked in vinegar can sterilize a space and not harm the environment. If you elect to use chemicals make sure to follow the manufacturers safety guidelines and dispose of them properly.
All this said yes, the Clean Sponge is made of Polyester and is ok to use with most household cleaners.
We don't know yet, however we have been BRUTALLY testing one for six months and have not had any failure yet. Ultimately our goal for the product is that it will last at least two to three years, however we haven't been around that long so we don't know yet!
